Eddie joined Pear VC in 2022 to lead the firm’s investments in companies specializing in innovative Life Sciences. He loves supporting visionary founders in their missions to transform human health and is passionate about the commercial and clinical translation of cutting-edge Life Sciences technologies.

Prior to that, Eddie served as the Head of Corporate Development at Senti Bio, a Pear portfolio company that leverages synthetic biology for next-generation cell and gene therapies. He also had MBA internships at Roche/Genentech and in venture capital at NanoDimension and scientific position at an early-stage ocular drug delivery company on formulation and process scale-up for two clinical drug products that are currently FDA-approved.

Eddie holds a Ph.D. in Biological Engineering from MIT with a focus on the development of non-viral gene therapies and MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
