Amir is leading business development and partnering at Therna Bio. He possesses more than a decade of experience in the biopharma industry, supported by over 25 years in life sciences research.

His broad expertise includes business development, corporate development, search and evaluation, and leading scientific teams, with a particular focus on immunology, antibodies, and RNA medicines.

Before joining Therna Bio, he served as a Director of Business Development at Ginkgo Bioworks, concentrating on developing its antibody developability product, PROHPHET-Ab. He also played a key role in building early-stage companies for Flagship Pioneering and Scion Innovations, where his responsibilities included serving as a scientific group lead, and leading program management and external research initiatives.

Amir holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from University of California, Davis and completed an NRSA Postdoctoral Fellowship in Epigenetics and B Cell Biology at NYU Medical Center.
