Sasan is a co-founder of Therna and Chief Executive Officer of Clear Labs, a life-sciences technology company focused on building automated, scalable platforms that translate biological insight into practical clinical and applied solutions across genomics and molecular diagnostics. Prior to founding Clear Labs, Sasan worked in the Advanced Research group at Illumina.

A serial entrepreneur, Sasan has been directly involved in the creation and development of multiple life-science companies, including Clear Labs, Hepta, and Therna Biosciences. He currently serves on the boards of these companies, contributing across company formation, technology strategy, and early platform development.

Sasan earned his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Genomics from Princeton University and holds multiple patents and publications spanning genomics, molecular biology, and applied biological technologies.
